proposal

During the Typography subject in the fourth semester of design at ESPM, characteristics of a font were drawn that should be transformed into a typography. The characters in this font were worked manually to be transformed into a digital font for the designer's own use.

vectorization

After the period of applying manual calligraphy, the letter designs were digitized and converted into vectors in font-lab, where each character was vectorized individually, before being converted into digital fonts.

The name POIROT derives from the fictional investigator Hercule Poirot; because it is condensed and tall, it contrasts with the character of the investigator who was famous for being short and friendly, but at the same time very refined and sharp.
